More like swole-knight Gael. When the hell did old man Gael become so big. I guess he IS more intimidating when huge, but still... Master of flips and spins and the last boss of the Dark Souls series. And he did not disappoint. A pretty hard fight, but unlike Midir it felt fair. Every bit of the fight felt amazing. The atmosphere, design, the attacks, the action and lore behind it. The only thing that felt really disappointing was the lack of a cutscene at the end. Felt kinda empty. They did entry and mid fight cutscenes, so why not a final one? Overall a boss fitting to be final in the series. 7 tries.
Damn, so with this comes to an end this picture series as well. I expected it to take me a few months, but it took longer than a year. A bit more than I thought. But I enjoyed it. Hope you enjoyed it too.
